Farm is located 3 miles south of the junction of U.S. Hwy. 20 & 59 southeast of Holstein on Hwy. 59 to 190th St and ½ mile east on 190th St. to the SW corner of the farm. Watch for signs and arrows.


Note: Actual auction will be held at the Lohff Schuman Memorial Community Center on the south side of Holstein near the ball fields.


Legal Description: The Southeast Quarter (SE1/4), Section 16, Township 88 North, Range 40 West of the 5th p.m., Logan Twp., Ida Co., Ia., containing 160 acres, m/l –
General Description: This 160 acre farm is excellently located half
way between Holstein and Ida Grove and the markets and amenities
offered by each community. Both have excellent grain elevators/
markets and Galva and the Quad Counties Ethanol Plant is approx.
8 miles east. This farm is in a high state of production with good
weed control and good conservation practices. There are several
terraces on the west side of the farm and there is a waterway
running from north to south across the farm which is very much
under control and creates no access problems to the fields. This
farm is considered an excellent farm in an excellent area of Ida
County. Interested parties may feel free to inspect the farm while

Terms: Purchaser will be expected to pay 10% of the gross sale
price on date of sale and sign a real estate contract agreeing to pay
the balance in full as of January 9, 2017, at which time full title will
be passed to buyers. Full possession will be given on 3/1/17.
Sellers will pay the installment of taxes becoming delinquent 10/1/17 based on current taxes and all prior taxes. There are no contingencies of any kind. All bidders are expected to have adequate financing in place prior to bidding. Sale is subject only to the approval of the administrator at the auction. All announcements made the day of the sale supersede anything printed herein.
